HONOLULU – Calling aspiring theatre directors on Oʻahu! Kumu Kahua Theatre is accepting applicants for a new directing course, the latest offering from its STAGES educational series presented free of charge for the community. Kumu Kahua Artistic Director, Harry Wong III, will teach the course with a focus on script study and critical analysis of productions. Applications will be accepted through December 20, 2023. The STAGES Aspiring Directors course will run throughout 2024.

This free class is supported by the Kumu Kahua Theatre Board of Directors. Class size is limited to 12 students. Students will be admitted on a first come first served basis.

Kumu Kahua Theatre is proud to announce an advanced acting class that focuses purely on developing the actorsʻ skills on their feet. This class is part of the Kumu Kahua Theatre STAGES education program. These classes are free of charge, and class size is limited. Interested students should apply here as soon as possible to assure a spot.
